Pest identification: the beginning of a solution

It is very important to correctly identify the pest to control before any treatment. Failing to do so could lead to an ineffective treatment. 

It is also important to ensure that insects are actually present before considering the use of insecticides. It is quite common for people to experience skin reactions or itching without finding any evidence of insect activity. Their first instinct is often to purchase an insecticide and apply it more or less indiscriminately. Naturally, the problem persists because the wrong solution is being applied to a poorly identified problem.

However, once an insect has been properly identified, and if its presence poses a risk, the appropriate actions and treatments can then be carried out.

Try to catch one sample alive if possible or in good conditions and bring it at our store for identification.
